Hey all
I've been having so much fun mixing with alumilite I thought I'd have a go with some heavy glitters and large foil objects about 3mm big hearts
It seems it doesn't matter how long I leave the resin to gell they sink to the bottom or introduce too much air for the pot to get rid of
Has anyone had any success with these type pours or know of a thicker resin that is able to suspend the objects until it cured?

Are you using AL slow by chance? That might buy you a bit of time for that critical period where it's thick enough to suspend the items in. If the pot pressure is good, it should crush the bubbles, assuming it has time to do it before it's solid. Alumilite is certainly one of the thicker resins so it should suspend most things pretty well. I'd stir it with the pieces in there and wait to pour until it's a bit over 35 degrees C.

I am using AL clear but the issue is even if I leave it till last minute and stir it when it's under pressure the bits still fall and it's only glitter
