I'm hoping to pick up some hints and tips to cast my own blanks as my first couple of attempts have not really been much good:wink:

Hello Mike, what resin are you going to use? Myself, I only use Polyester Water clear resin with Mica powders. There is no need for pressure or vacuum pots. Providing you get the catalyst mix ratio right and stir slowly, you should be practically bubble free and have nice easy to turn blanks. Warm the resin up first by standing the mixing beaker in hot water. If your using any other resin, I wouldn’t have a clue. Hope that helps.:thumbs:
