Thanks, I hope so. I’m not sure my turning skills will do them justice though, to be honest! :rolling:

Nice looking blanks Melanie, but, err... we're still waiting for the photos of your new lathe too. We LIKE photos!! You know what they say - no photos - didn't happen.

What??! Uh, I knew I should have taken photos of it when it was just out of the box and all new and shiny! As it is, this is what it looks like right now...

It’s in such a mess because I’ve just finished turning one of those blanks above into this (photo doesn’t really do it justice, I’ll try and get another in daylight tomorrow, but suffice to say it’s my favourite pen I’ve ever made)

I thought I’d post another pen I’ve made from this batch of blanks....I think this one is even nicer than the last. I wish I could make kitless fountain pens as I think they’d look great in this resin. :rolling:

Even more beautiful turned right to the very tip,you should be very proud.Watching a guy on you tube in America recently squeezing the formers and a little compressed air the tubes flying up ,catching means there are other ways to explore. Looking atcosts I would say have a yarn with Stephen Just on Australian Penturners facebook forum,a friend and very knowledgeable i long tubes etc,say Peter said. Anyway love the way those tubes finished up.

kind regards Peter.

Great looking blanks and lovely pen !
The lathe does not constitute a mess, a simple inconvenience that's all!!
Now if you want to see a mess....
