I know Jim stickied the last thread, but it was getting a little messy. Can you do it again Jim?

York 2 will definitely be taking place on the 18th of July 2015!

The venue is booked and in the diary!
It will officially run from 10am till 4pm, as last year.:whistling::funny:

I will be there from 8am if anybody needs access earlier.

As last time, the buffet lunch will be included in the ticket price, and will be provided by Ali and her helpers.

There will be only one formal demonstration this year, as requested.

A lot of this is still "up in the air" at the moment, but it does take a bit of work!

Provisionally....

Tony Wilson RPT. will be demonstrating!

This is a major coup, as far as I'm concerned. and a major draw!

If you are not familiar with Tony's work, shame on you!:funny:

A workshop will be up and running, and you can have a go on a lathe, or try your hand at scrolling.

I'm hoping to have some native blanks for sale, but I am looking for a reputable importer of exotic stuff to attend also.

I'm hoping that Taylors Mirfield and Beaufort inks, will be present in some way!

If Paulm can help out again with the auction, it would be most appreciated?

All profits will go to the school, but there will be a donation area set up for blanks, kits, or finished items that you wish to donate for Blind Veterans / Pens for Heroes, if Bill and Woody are happy with that?

I will struggle to get this sorted without numbers attending.
If there is enough interest it will still probably be only £10 payable on the day? (subject to take up)
It will be open to any one, so please post here if you can attend!

Here is a York 2 flyer ..

As I said in the earlier post, you can count on mine and Sues support
We will look at booking a caravan site next week.
If you need any help with anything on the day just ask :nooidea:
All I ask is that everyone make sure Sue's hands are superglued into her pockets and her mouth gagged if there is an auction again :whistling::funny:

Neil, try Martin Pidgeon and his mobile woodstock, do you know him? Good stuff, reasonable prices and what you are after, exotic and some rarely seen elsewhere stuff.

I'd love to be there Neil bit can't commit as I'm on the list for a new knee. You know what 'sod's law' will do, don't you!
