    The Brampton Woodturners show

Hi had a day out today and went to the Brampton wood turners show which includes the inter-club competition... thought I would share some photos:

Looking at turning and trying out hopefully new ideas and sharing the results.

Kevin I see some universal trends in some of those entries. As usual I thank you for sharing your day out mate. Fine work indeed.

Had a look on a map it was a fair journey for you Kevin to Brampton. I also noticed Durham nearby my sisters husband emigrated in the 50,s from there since passed (he served in WW2). How long does it take to drive from Wear and Tyne to Brampton?.

Established yesterday to get a copy of all the entries at our Annual Exhibition last week end, they are so numerous I plan to show a few at a time on our forum when I get them, I forgot my camera last friday when I was there as a Steward.

It’s only and hour and a half drive... so no problem...
My father also served in WWII having come over from Ireland he was part of the RAF and the Battle of Britain and his name is on all the memorials commemorating those that served he lived to tell the tale... although he did not tell the story...

I loved the show and as a novice I just admire the skills of others ...

Thanks Kevin I had another gaze at the map on the net the scale tells me I was wrong. My Dad was in WW2, they were tough times in our house while he was away. I enjoy others work on the forum and look forward to seeing it often.
