Hello!
I am Anthony Milner from Manchester UK.
The attached is a photo of my first pen, turned yesyerday - the day my kit arrined in the post!
It was made on a Unimat Classic - I know it's a bit of a 'toy' lathe, but it seems to have worked.
The wood supplied with the kit is a bit naff so I've ordered more blanks and pen parts.
Cheers for now
Tony

Hi Tony & welcome. That's a nice pen you've made. There's nowt wrong with your lathe, had an Elliott unimat for years & has given great service. Don't forget that any lathe is only as good as the person who uses it.

Hi Tony - welcome aboard. Are you sure that's your first pen? It's a great shape - I really like it. Looking forward to the next one.

Oi you lot there's nothing wrong with Manchester. Just remember it could always be worse .... like Yorkshire or ..... The North East :face::whistling::wink:
