Hi all,
Just registered. Back to turning after a long time and have enjoyed doing pens in the past.
I'm just about to order some bits from Taylors, Zeta, Omega and Epsilon all in G/M.

Hope to enjoy your advise..

James

Thanks all!
I was hoping to hear that about those kits.
One question, the zeta and omega look like other kits, are other bushes compatible with these?
I'm also afte a fountain pen front section with a m10 x 0.75 thread, can you recommend one?

James I am amazed at the number of members intros citing oncoming or severe madness must be an epidemic. Since you are already a penmaker and have questions now. With regard to bushes it will be easy to check when you get your supplies in to measure at the ends the true size needed then check what you have the critical measurement is the internal first no slop on the mandrel. If you turn between centres it matters not. I tend to use bushes as spacers and guides only relying on calipers. Dealers do not like revealing their sources as a rule renaming similar kits etc. What I do if I have a query with my measures written down check the instructions against similar kits. The true answers are there.

Enjoy the forum welcome from over here.

Peter.
