Hi thought it was time I introduced myself properly as I know my husband has mentioned me in a few posts!!!

I'm Jackie, Paul aka "Bucks" wife. A few months ago I persuaded Paul to teach me pen turning which I found I really enjoyed, unfortunately I haven't had the time for any pen turning recently as between gardening work, looking after our daughters (one of whom is disabled) and helping Paul make these casting moulds etc, I've been too busy! I hope to get back to the lathe soon and start to produce some gorgeous pens like you guys with a bit of luck!

Refreshing to work with your husband ,it takes courage to then go into another venture. Jackie I like the way you both seek distinction in the process. My wife and I had a business where we lived above the Photographic Studio in the main street of a country City. At the time the six children all provided challenges 5 of them teenagers.

Thankyou for saying hello,Paul and I have corresponded and I found him to be of good cheer and character. I adore my wife of 63 yrs in July.

Kind regards Peter.

Hi Jackie
I'm also new here.
I'm still finding my way around the site though I think you are way ahead of me on that.

Hope you find some time to get some pens together soon.

Tony
