Hi all

My name is Chris.i have not got a lathe yet but I will be getting one as soon as I have put up a shead
I've got a lot of work to do before the shead will go up.
I'm 54years old and I have turned before about 34 years ago every thing I made I sold to the alternative and technology in Machynlleth north/mid Wales so I'm not a totally new to this.but let's not run before I can walk I know I will have to start
from the bigining again because I wold not have dreamed of making a pen back then:funny:
So I'm looking forward to a new challenge. I have looked a lot at YouTube at pen turning and I can't wait to have a go
The time for the work to be done is 2to3 months then the lathe about 5to6 months:praying: if work slows down

Looking forward to speaking to you all on the forum

Chris

I recently made for Steven AKA Skiprat this piece of Brown Mallee Burl ,he lives in the Nth of Wales near Chester. It is an accurate shape. He is a famous maker of highly individual pens.Quick pic before I sent it.

Peter.
