Hello all forum members,
My name is Andy and I hail from the Angus town of Arbroath.
Have been a turner / machinist in the oil and gas industry most of my working life so thought turning wood on a small lathe would be a doddle.
That thought very quickly got shelved !!.
Being a complete novice to wood turning I visited a local club and got hooked on pen turning.
Love it. Have made quite a few pens now and am in the process of trying my hand at segmented pens.
When moderators allow I will put up a few pics.
Already have a number of questions to ask of forum members but will spend some time looking through past posts to see if there are any answers first.

Hello and welcome Andy, we will look forward to seeing your pens. segmenting is fun, frustrating and challenging all rolled into one (pun intended) just remember to keep the glue off your parts.

Welcome to the forum Andy. Ask away, it's a good way of getting to know people and ups your post count :winking:
