Hi all I am Barry new to pens but not to turning .
Going to give it a good go I know There is a lot to learn .
Finishing will my biggest challenge I think .

Hi Barry, welcome.

Not so long ago super glue was the finish of choice for many but it seems to have been surpassed with either Acrylic or Melamine these days.

Welcome to the forum Barry. You will find loads of views on finishing on here. William is quite right as to more recent posts but have fun wading through all the information and then have a go yourself. It is certainly a very personal thing.
