Hi,
I am new to pen turning although I have had my lathe for about 9 years. I bought it a long time ago set it up in my garage then the daily grind of work took over & I never got chance to use it much. During the last year I got the bug.....started with a few bowls now got into Pen Turning & got a bit addicted to it. Christmas came with a few extra bits & now I have just purchased a Vacuum Tank & will shortly attempt to cast my own blanks.
Lots of interesting post on here & I hope to be able to post a few pictures of the pens I have turned & I am open to any comments & feedback which would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Ian.
Any questions you need answering just ask.
A good source is also the "search thread".

Thanks for the welcome.
Terry Q, I like that quote on the bottom of your posts as I am a mechanic & will have to try that on a few of our customers !!

Welcome Ian I don,t remember why but the place you nominated Bristol has strength and reminds me in our house growing up everything had to be in Bristol fashion ,ie the best we could achieve. Both my Mum and Dad kept the inside and outside immaculate. Neat to get the bug, have fun and welcome from over here.

Peter.
