Hi All,
First thank you for the add, looking forward to picking the brains of the more experienced craftsmen - as a total newbie to the art.
I've turned 6 or 7 pens plus a stitch ripper, letter opener and a pizza cutter - don't ask) out of various woods including Oak, Walnut, purpleheart, maple and wenge...
reasonably competent woodworker having made a handful of electric and semi acoustic guitars, now looking to diversify into the world of pen turning.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the madhouse. You're certainly in the right place place. There are members of this forum whose skills are absolutely amazing.
If the answer ain't here, then there ain't one. Ask away and enjoy.

(BTW I take bribes in a plain brown envelope for Pen of the Week):wink:

Cheers,
Frederick

Hi Paul - welcome to the forum. You've got more than enough posts under your belt to post some piccies of your guitars and other work if you feel so inclined. We'd love to see 'em.

Beautiful craftsmanship there Paul. As a retired joiner I appreciate the work as I’ve made a few myself in the past.

Hi and welcome Paul. I don't turn many pens but ask any questions someone will answer.
