Hi Dennis,
I am new (ish) to pen turning and I will say it can get very addictive and before you know it you have spent a lot of money !! … I find it very relaxing after a hard week at work... I made a few for my family at Christmas and I will say it looked like they appreciated them a lot more than some of the presents that were bought for them.
