Hi I’m Dave from Leeds. I’ve done lots of work on my scroll saw over the last few years but recently decided to try something new. I’ve made a few pens over the last few months both wood and acrylic but still have lots to learn. I started out with a generic £20 mandrel with the knurled nut tensioner but have recently upgraded to a Axminster evolution series compression mandrel and I must say I’m impressed.

Looking forward to reading and learning lots from this forum.

Cheers Dave

Hello Dave and welcome.
I am a scroller as well. there is a place here to show your scroll saw work if you look under 'other things we make or turn' you will find a scroll saw forum.
So you can not only show pens here but your scroll saw work as well.
Alan

Unfortunately as a new member I’m not allowed to post images yet.

Cheers
Dave

I think that the posts you've made so far are all you need to post images - you should be good to go. (You might want to start a new thread though, and post them in that, otherwise they'll get buried in this one)

You have the necessary number of posts under your belt to enable you to post photos Dave. You only need 2 posts, and that is to stop someone from joining just to instantly spam with inappropriate material.
