This feels very like the start of an internet dating recording.... Not that I'd know what those are like....

Hi, I'm Paul. I've owned a lathe for maybe a year, 18 months and have been making a variety of thing (mostly shavings to be honest). I've made a few slimline pens amongst the bowls and bottle openers and such, but I'm keen to make more pens as they are great fun to make and show off!

Right now, I feel like I'm still only starting out and am in total awe of some of the beautiful pens I've seen and especially those from people who are showing them off as their first pen turned (my first pen looks like a bit of tree with a nib).

Anyway, since this feels so very internet dating... I like long romantic walks, dinners and woodturning.....

Paul
