Hi folks,
Man of few words so this introduction will be short. I’ve been turning for several years now starting of course with pens and then moving on to bowls, clocks and most things in between. Recently I’ve done a 180 and found myself back making pens and really enjoying it. A couple of months ago I started casting my own blanks and Find I get as much enjoyment doing that as making pens.

Hi and welcome Peter. I am a man of few pens(not words) I very very occasionally cast my own as well as turn pens and when I do enjoy what comes out at the end.

Don't be afraid to show some of your work in the relevant sections of the forum so that we can see what you have produced. Also don't be afraid to join in the serious as well as the banter that goes on here making it a great friendly forum

Hi Pete welcome aboard, they're a friendly bunch on here.

Are you Irish or just live there? I've met a lot of Irish folk, lovely people but can't think of any that were of "few words", only saying.
