As you know I have been in Llandudno these past 3 weeks & I've taken some pics to show what you generosity is helping to fund.
A sensory woodland garden is being made for members to enjoy the solitude & nature in general. it has taken 200 volunteers 2 years to get the garden to this stage & the work is ongoing. Your funds have helped to finance materials & furnishings for the garden. The path is laid with Welsh slate then tarmac then the red non-slip top surface. the path is lined on each side with posts with guide rope as you will see from the pics.
An oak signpost is erected near the entrance with the distances from Llandudno to Blind Veterans HQ, London, the Brighton & Sheffield centres.

You also helped to pay for this beautifully carved tree trunk.

That is absolutely great Bill. Good to see the results of the good work many have put into the pens like Woody.

The one thing I haven't passed on is the heart felt gratitude from the Llandudno staff, they send their grateful thanks for your generosity.

Bill its a garden walking talking quiet retreat that should give comfort cheer and solace to so many people Paul must be delighted with the Owls carved and patently real we had the privilige to see , loved the walkway observing from your description the trouble free surfacing. Last time I was in our large Mall near us a guy walked into us at the shopping centre totally blind he is studying journalism at universty he was hanging out for cigarettes (cheap ones) heading in the wrong direction so I said hold on away we go and I delivered him to his destination. I said how did you get here he said by bus cause he does it all the time.

There are infinite demands on our spending money which after nearly twenty years of retirement is spread thin, we tithe 10% of our income from the top plus an offering the equivalent or more of two meals that we fast for and out money goes to the facilities and the needy in huge figures. We direct our main contributions this way. Enough about us thanks Bill for the commentary and pics mate.
