OK here's a totally off topic question.
For all you guys with your own websites. Who, in your opinions, is the best company to go with for a single domain?
There's so many offers and companies out there it's hard to choose :thinks: :nooidea:

I have used Virtualnames - Domain name registration and website hosting for many years now, have quite a few domain names with them and could not think of a reason that I'd want to change from them. Their online support is superb and things like Wordpress are installed with the click of a button. Also... no advertising which is a must for me. It costs about £50 for a domain name, web space, 10 pop3/imap mail addresses and unlimited mail forwarding addresses.

I agree, it's good to have a recommendation. It's fine to get a whopping special offer to reel you in, but it's long term that counts. Paul has given you one, here's another - I use a company called Namehog. Been very happy with them for the last 13 years.
