Our Doug popped in about mid day with his contribution for the York auction and some very nice pen blanks for the veterans and whilst he was here another friend popped in from Leicester with a few bits of wood for me two boards of Oak one of elm with burrs one board of Douglas fir and two bits of black walnut and another bit of Oak to finish the 8 sided set for the blind veterans it was to hot to go in me workshop but spent a wonderful day with some very good friends

It was as ever great to see Vi & your very good self Woody looking so well, I'm sorry if I stopped you from gardening :whistling::whistling: it was also good meeting young Dan, he certainly has some very lovely timber, or should that be you now do :thumbs::thumbs:

I'm off into the workshop in a while to have a play with the wood you kindly let me have :up: :up:

Woody time spent without contention is memorable with like minded guys character building so much timber to see and use for good causes. I am impressed Woody, Doug and your mate from Leicester.
