Hi All

Hoping you can help. I have been asked by one of my customers if you can mix luminescent powders in with acrylic to make blanks. This is not for pens but for something to do with fishing. Secondly, once they have luminated in the dark are they reusable i.e. do they only luminate once only or every time an angler would use them at night.

Would appreciate any assistance.
Thanks
Davey

Wouldn't it be the same principle as the luminescent numbers or marks on a watch face that glow in the dark? I've got a couple of TV/DVD remotes that have glow in the dark keys but I have no idea who sells the powders :thinks:

Reading that Dave I would say that it will need daylight/sunlight to operate for up to 8 hours in the dark " After as little as 30mins exposure to daylight ( or indoor lighting ) the pigment will glow for up to 8hrs." so once it has faded it will need to be put back into the light source to recharge it.

Hi mate

Yeah tend to agree having seen and read that now but it's whether it can be mixed into acrylic for blanks.
