When I had finished it would happily modified bought earlier vintage boys own lathe, scroll saw same as used to be on the front page of AAW in USA and a true treadle playing Peter the plumber yesterday can just walk today. That lathe needs conversion to ball bearings etc could be rust frozen. not for me.

Oh well, i missed out on that one.
I put a snipe on it for £20 and upped it to £30 when it went to £20, that was plenty nuf for that piece.
Didn't get a look in, had to go work, when I got home expected to see I had bought it but my snipe never went in cos the bidding was already more than I allowed init?
Sorry Jim you will never know now unless someone on the forums won it and show's it off when done.
