Just a short update to let everyone know what is happening to the site since my email regarding packing it all in ..

I must thank everyone who contacted me showing interest regarding the running of the site, but most of all I would like to thank all of you guys and girls who contacted me offering support and suggestions, this took me by surprise ..

After giving this much thought and talking with a number of people I have decided to carry on running the site, but with the help of a few more people who are willing to put their time into the place and help as much as they can.

We will be forming a small committee and would like suggestions/feedback from members on how they would like to see the forums move to the next level. The committee will be Peter (Buckeye), Billy (billyb_imp) Doug and myself ..

I will add more as it becomes more clear of the roles we will be playing ..

Thanks again everyone,

Jim

A suggestion competitions seem to fly on the seat of the pants, deadlines extend etc demoralising requests to vary the rules seem to follow.

I could not agree more. I'm delighted you're carrying on Jim and now that you have become the Gang of Four, there will be no stopping you.
Looking forward to the next several years. My best wishes for the continued growth and success of your forum, and my gratitude both on a personal and a business level for the generosity of time and spirit you show towards it all.

Phil
