How can I enlarge my avatar picture?

    Hi,

Is there a way to enlarge the image of my avatar? I've searched in userCP without any joy.

    Thanks.

It looks like you have made a long thin avatar and may be already at the maximum width. I have just looked at the size of my avatar and it is 1.56 x 1.51 inches @ 96 dpi so have a look at your and see if you can make it to those dimensions then upload it again.

You will need to download it to your computer and open it in a graphics program which I have just done with your avatar and it is 1.53 x 0.63 inches @ 72 DPI

If you made the avatar yourself then you need to make it square and upload it again, if it is too big I think the forum software will resize it for you and as long as it is square it should be fine. Small type may not show up very well, you just have to try it and see.

If you use photo bucket you can edit your photo there, then I save to desk top and then upload to forum as per Jim's post.

As Peter says Ruth, try to close the gap between the height and width of the image, the software will reduce it for you ..
