Recent metal pens reminded me of a mail order purchase best part of 40 tys ago . This pen is one of about ten in various sizes and configuration. Made in Stainless Steel propped from rolling on the kitchen table in a hurry just now with a sewing needle. For all these years I have admired it after the refill expired they were unavailable together with the refills for the various sized biros. The pen tapers down to 6mm from the cap. I will purchase refills all round and enjoy them again. They popped up in our recent clean out in drawers in one room. I will never attempt anything like this in stainless.

Peter.

I had a very similar set Peter and like you found that obtaining refills was a problem. They sat in my desk at work for years until I had a clear out and flung them, long before I got into pen turning. I am sure the odd one or two are still lurking in the draws at home.
