You Cant Rush These Things.

Boxing Day last year some friends came around for a BBQ, as it was pouring with rain most of the weekend, I spent most of the time in the metal work section of my shed and I started to make some window bullet pens,
Mark came around the other day and saw this and said "Wot you haven't finished them yet"
I told him I was letting the acclimatise to the territory climate.

Same here. I could probably get once fired .50 cal brass - at a price, but if I tried to buy any actual bullets I'm sure questions would be asked. If I can get a case or two I'd likely have to make my own bullets from copper rod. I do like the look of the silver tipped .50 cal bullets though so I may actually attempt a composite bullet of stainless steel and copper at some point.
I don't think many Americans realise how lucky they are over there!

One guy is Les in Canada two reasons one he lives in constant gun seasons and shows two he is a genius with all things his fully functioning wooden locks are worth shouting about, his casting is blemish free. One time on another site he showed his workshop far larger than any room in my house and immaculate.

I couldn't find any fired .50cal brass, ny one that is lucky enough to own a rifle won't part with them. I got new cases and projectiles, I had to make my own primers.

I got a clue on the spray restoration folks at The Australian War Memorial used until it was discontinued the new product now they use for medals,coins and brass is called Wattyl Clear with a statement specially for metal. I thought that worth sharing Woody and Mark. For yerars now I have been using birth year coins some sprays have crazed when sprayed with other types of laquer.
