Well after all the wood prep and shows I managed after a couple of hours gardening to get back in the shed even if it was only to pick up the little leaf/flower piece that I shaped. I took it into the garden and sat in the shade with some sandpaper and spent a few hours sanding the final shape then going down a grit gave it a good sand at 120 grit all over all that I need to do now is work through the grits before either attacking it with burrs of paint.
It just felt so good to be able to get back at it
