Had a visit today from Smoker (Steve) who brought me a goody bag full of stuff to help me on my way with my casting journey. I don't think that I need to bother about making any new moulds for awhile now ....Steve dropped off seven....(see pic) ! But when I do I now have a nice big sheet of HDPE to play with. Also got some gold and silver Pearl-Ex powder and a selection of Cherry stones, Pistachio shells and Casuarina nuts and a couple of Steve's own 'Don't waste a thing' multicolored crush blanks. For afters I got a block of Carnauba wax and a block of Beeswax/Carnauba wax. Afterwards over a brew we had a good couple of hours putting the world right and sorting out which were the best local pubs. Thanks again for gear Steve and thanks for making me laugh so much. Your a true scholar sir.

Looks like a great haul, the pistachio shells are a bit of a barsteward if you have a mould for a single blank I would try that first as you may not want to do a 2nd. one.

The hdpe sheet is brilliant for block moulds or even using as a tray in case you have any little spills of resin.

Substantial molds there Ed you received from Smoker and so many goodies, you both will get on well you will have identical tattoos soon. On a serious note how good is it to have friends with a common interest.

Peter.
