Hello everyone,

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, please feel free to move. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all of your well wishes on our big day. Everything went off without a hitch and we enjoyed it big time:

After spending a week camping with 2 of the three kids, we have come to Venice for a bit of grown up time, and I came across this pen shop!!! Just look at the prices, what does everyone else think??

I'll leave you with a final picture of us in the square enjoying an ice cream - Venice is a truly beautiful place, not much wood here though [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Congratulations on your wedding Miles, I hope you have a wonderful time in Venice.:banana:

BTW which pen did you buy?

Not at those prices Mark, you gotta be nuts!!! Seen cigar pens all over this place and the cheapest was €69!!! Comes in a nice box with a map of the city an all, but wow, when you know those kits cost €5-€10 each it's amazing

I think you could buy those and sell them again for a tidy sum. (I meant the pens, not the wife, though a good wife appreciates in value every single day.)
Congratulations to you both. Does she like the smell of sawdust?

Just told her she would appreciate in value every day and got a smile...doesn't get me out of buying dinner tonight though [emoji23]

Couldn't live here though - no trees!!! Hence no wood. Of course back on the mainland olive wood would be the order of the day, and yesterday we went to Lido which is a tiny beach island and I found a massive pine cone which I will play with when I get home!
