They called a risky one, suffered an event under anasthesia so they kept me for several hours more doing checks and balances. Some internal 3 D pics showed severe burning from my 39 visits for Radiation to kill cancer a couple of years ago. No such thing as a free lunch. Not supposed to drive again until later on today, family is watching closely to make sure.

Recently I had an Electro Cardiograph the woman who did it said I had no right to come to this Professor for a second opinion bla bla. I took a big exception to her attitude, said little, weighed into the Doc about her, he reassured me I did the right thing coming to him. Found out two days ago the operator of the Scan Device was his wife. Oh well bad luck, I have had a tough series with the heart Specialist, results were encouraging.

Our main Hospital has a new device that looks very Science fiction, setting up for full operation early next year I am on the waiting list. It corrects skip heart beat, fibrillation and important for me arythmia, I have been out of sync for about twenty years. One specialist stopped my heart on twelve occassions bringing me back over the years with the shock paddles. A mate of mine had one Cardio Version last year and had a strke coming back. Scary for some sure put the breeze up me when I found out.

Life good every day a winner.

Peter.

Well one thing I have learnt even more so the last 3 years, and that's about challenging the norm.

Its right for you to asks for second opinions, been there done that. But oh boy, doesn't it upset them.:rolling:

It's good to see you have a positive mind for it, good outcomes ahead with that attitude mate..

Called a Go Go Paul 24 volt Disability Scooter, comes apart and sits in the boot of the car, off shopping to our local cavernous Mall today will use it for a couple of hours. Easy travel, arrive home fresh from what used to be a burden for me.

My heartfelt best wishes Peter. I hope you keep improving.:praying:
Evelyn had part of her heart killed off in July to bring her rhythm back in sinc & stop her defibrillator from giving her unnecessary shocks. She’s had the thumbs up from her consultant.

Keep your chin up Peter.

I bought my missus the exact same model GoGo scooter a couple of years ago before her hip replacements. Brilliant little machine comes into 5 parts as you say to fit in the boot. I paid £200 second hand almost new and sold it for £275 so win win situation.
My 4 year old granddaughter was very upset as she wanted to keep it for a go cart. :funny:

Thanks fellas out in the Shed today real heavy rain event in progress,25C today even with the rain that has been scarce. Never will run marathons. Came out of anaesthetic one time, the specialist visited in hospital and a few days later and said well how are you. I replied same old but better only one thing I can,t play the piano any more. He looked a bit devastated till I let him know I never could play the piano.

Well it sounds like you have come out of this with your sense of humour intact. Hope things improve to make life easier and that you have kept some of the workshop tools to play with.

Take care and look after your self

Its a Model A 1966 and I have most attachments, love it to bits. It was hardly used when I bought it 24 yrs ago. I call it my workshop right hand.
