I stumbled recently into a box making session, them the girls in the kitchen ,me watching cricket.

They were using a fairly expensive roller press system with raised cards alongside of this was the device to assist making these boxes.

Having due regard to secret womens business I retreated thinking the way was expensive. Not so in pics I show the device Wilma used for me,it is a flat plastic material that combines a cutter,a line impression maker. Cost at many places varound 30.00 Aussie Dollars. C/W instructions the box shown was Wimas first.

Thanks for sharing this Peter. I'm always looking for easy/effective packing and presentation solutions. I saw your post a few days ago where you hinted at the above and have been researching around this since then. It looks like a good solution that I can use at times.
I've spotted a link onto amazon.co.uk where there is a similar looking and I think appropriately sized kit - currently reduced from £22.75 down to £15.33 the link is below if of interest to others.

Tony thats the one, our friend imported Fresh water pearl necklaces etc from China and Japan, she gave Wilma a beautiful necklace, the natural colours of the Pearls are White,Pale Yellow,Pale Lilac. Since Wilma like me is in her 80,s and sensitive of growing old the colour chosen by her made her very happy. The box served its purpose with the pen so well in a short time. The pic of a framed pic of us in the seventies gives me fabulous memories. I grew a beard for a few months, all good fun.We had been married about twenty years then.
