While you're sweltering in your sauna workshops Mark and Peter, this is what it's like at MINUS 5c. You lot don't know you're born.:wink:

3rd pic is after clearing about 6" of snow yesterday morning, had to do it all again in the afternoon, blizzards and high winds overnight and today shifted the whole lot into drifts and despite having a 7.30 am appointment this morning I couldn't get there even with my 4 wheel drive. :sob:

Othe 2 pics are from front and back windows during a break in the snow showers.

EDIT:
Here's the dog this morning, not sure she's very impressed with snow up to her armpits, she has quite long legs for a labrador as well. You can just about see her thinking " how the hell am I supposed to have a pee in this?"

Very pretty, felt grateful to live here once again, sorry for the dog wonder she went out at all. Must be a worry to leave the house at all when it snows like this, I can only imagine the strength and angling necessary for roofing in this climate. Thanks for sharing mate. No wonder all cars sold in various countries are fine tuned to suit them. Wow Bob I will never complain when our frosts reach us on Anzac day this year now.

Peter.

We're a hardy lot here Peter although all the schools seem to close at the first sign of a few snowflakes :thinks: My 5 year old granddaughter is ecstatic as she's off school, playing in deep snow on a sledge, what more could a child wish for?

This weather is unusual and we're lucky here as central Scotland has worse and tonight the South West is in for some arctic conditions. It's the wind which is the main problem as that -5 c feels more like -12 in the wind chill.

The dog is hilarious to watch, she loves the snow and jumps and rolls but really objects to going to the toilet in that. Who wouldn't ! :funny::funny:

Geez Bob if that was my yard I wouldn't need a beer fridge.:funny::funny:

Glad your dog is a girl, imagine a poor dog with his dangly bits dragging in the snow.:roflmao:

I am desperately trying to find a picture I took in Austria while skiing a few years back. We were in a ground floor room and the sliding door to our room opened on to a snow drift. we carved a beer fridge into the snow it was great!

Bet that was quite a sight Andy.

We've been to Oz on 3 lengthy hols but never lower temps than around 25c. My brother in Sydney did tell me it gets down to around 10c sometimes in winter. Not enough to get him out of shorts into long trousers though. :funny:

Great fridge, I want one!

Took the car out first time today, handled the deep snow locally no problem, 4 wheel drive and all season tyres are just the job in this weather.

The main road on top of the moor in the pic was a bit rough going out but they had it clear again by the time we drove home.

I thought you lot were getting a great load dumped on you today, you lead a charmed life Derek.

This is how hard it is to battle out to the shed today think I will give it a miss until the snow clears:face::face::face:
