Does anyone out there know of a decent quality cancer research pen kit at a reasonable price, as a newbie to pen turning and as a Cancer Survivor (Lung Cancer) I would like to donate some ( 10 to start with) pens for sale in the Maggies centres with all proceeds going to research ( Mcmillan trust)
This will not be happening overnight as I still need to pick up the lathe from a member on here who is holding on to it till i get sorted out , recent house move arggghhhhhh, dont have my workshop sorted but got my loft sorted so lathe will go there, I will be donating the pens so I will be covering all the costs, Maggies / Mcmillans have been fantastic supporting me through my treatment so just looking for a way I can afford to give something back
I will be buying slimline pen kits at less than £2 a pop so I can get my skill level up tp standard before I offer to Maggies
not looking for donations just some advice on the cheapest place to filnd Quality kits at a reasonable price
All help and advivce appreciated
Cheers
Ray

Other than the breast cancer awareness pen clips I cant think of any other kits that are for cancer awareness.
the only thing I can think of are THESE but at $10 a piece might be more than you're looking to spend on blanks especially with shipping and import duties.
That said Mike's blanks are gorgeous and if you ask nicely he'll put some of his amazing glow in the dark powder in the resin and then you'll never lose them in the dark. I turned a perfume atomiser for my wife in one of his blanks and now it has to live in the drawer it glows so much!
