My old toy

I bought this little beauty in 1971. It’s an Elliott Unimat lathe combo. It coverts from an automatic feed lathe to a pillar drill or milling table. It has 12 speeds from 155rpm to 6000rpm & has done me proud.

Nice lathe, had one years ago when I was in my early twenty's. Sold it to buy a motorbike.
I have been on the market for one of these for some years now, with no luck.

A proper bit of engineering on that Bill. They don't make em like that anymore. I have just managed to get the Old Atlas lathe into my workshop and looking forward to getting it properly set up and having a play. It's been years since I used a metal lathe so god knows what the outcome will be
