This morning I took these pics to show this tool holder to enable the use of a Dremel and various disks ,the one fitted Is A Diamond to cut some real tough stuff. The Dremel is just sitting in the holder not firmed up it mounts on dead centre. I cut grooves for spring clips, cut brass tubes etc value it highly. The Aluminium extrusion is the perfect size came from a truck body builder in Canberra who uses it for holding big swivel pins that swing the rear gate on trucks. It could just as easy been made to fit a tool post on a wood lathe.

Peter.

Novel idea Peter. I need to see more posts like these relating to metal lathes. My Atlas installation is nearly complete just got the cross shaft and motor to install and then it's playtime

Nice addition to the Lathe Peter. Not sure if you can still get them but they used to make tool post grinders years ago.
