My father survived the II world war but his name is still one of the “Few” and he is listed on the Battle of Britain war memorials

We was awarded the Battle of Britain clasp and he never said anything about it. I only found out after his death when looking at his medals .

Just sat and watch the memorial service that Peter (AKA Crowie) in Australia sent me a link to. It was great to see their service of Remembrance

I'm about to make my way to the remembrance parade in our local park.

My two sons will be marching, one will be carrying the standard and leading the army cadets to the cenotaph.
