Hi Guys, It's people that make this forum what it is and help and advice is always on tap. Today I visited a local craft market where I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow pen turner.......Tony ' Unique' a very warm welcome was given and plesentrys exchanged......I wished I had had a bit more time but SHMBO wanted shopping.
A real nice display of pens were on offer too( although I did notice a couple go:whistling:)
Thanks Tony nice to meet up!:thumbs:

It's right mate what you say Mark, this is a great forum. No matter what your problems are there is always someone on here who is willing to help. I have had some fantastic assistance from the members on here and really enjoy browsing the posts. We have had a few negatives in the past but generaly the forum has been so friendly and long may it last. Credit must go to Phil for the time he spends doing all the admin and sorting problems out

It's the members that make it what it is. I just look after the mothership, and oil her cogs and wheels from time to time.

Hi Mark (again!), yes it was good to meet up with you yesterday and share a few words. We'll have to organise to do it again. I thought that I had a good display out yesterday and it had a good reaction from those looking, browsing and even buying.

I agree with Mark this a great forum, I've learnt loads from you folks on here and continue to do so.

Tony

Show us some pics from your display and of where the location was.:thanxs:
Peter.

Hi - it was at The Westgate Hall in Canterbury, a nice venue between one of the larger car parks and the High Street .. I have a spot at this monthly market which is actually termed a 'Farmers Market' though in reality it is a combination of craft and food products
A couple of photos attached -
