I spend most of my time teaching turning these days. I rarely put up posts on here showing students turning as it is not the type of thing that is of interest to guys who already turn but I thought you might like this.

Anthony and Jake were here today and will be returning next week for another day to ensure we cover all the basics.
They work for a community care charity that takes disabled kids and kids with learning difficulties for all sorts of care.
The charity have a working farm environment and have a joiners shop and a metalwork shop already up and running, and are now looking at a dedicated turning space as well.

Yes Phil.
Last time was sharpening, bowl, and basic spindle work so they got to know the tools. We'll be going over the tools again next week and doing some kit turning the kids could do like key rings and pens.
Once they get the kit I'll be nipping up to check it out but I'm sure it will be fine with the rigorous health and safety that's already in place for the other activities.
