As much as the HDR stuff helps (iPhone has a built in basic HDR) it's more about the lighting. What he has achieved is great. Diffused (decent) light and a neutral background will do it every time. :)

Excellent, thanks for posting the link, I`ve been trying to come up with a better way of defusing the light, I like his solution.
