Not sure if you noticed but I have been absent from the forum for a few
days.

What happened is that week before last I did not feel too good and
thought it would blow over as many of these bugs seem to come and go
which kept me out of the workshop. Anyway, last week still not feeling very
well went to the Doctors who first took my temperature and with a little oh
dear, that's not right promptly phoned an ambulance. So from last Tuesday, I
have been laid up in the hospital with them pumping fluids through a drip
to increase those to a safer level and trying to get my temperature down
from the 40degs.
Yesterday they let me home with total rest but can do small amounts as long
as I keep it sensible.
I give myself a few days and hopefully will be back turning again. Still feeling a little fragile.

So I am now back pestering taking the mick and any other things you can think of you don't get rid of me that easy

Oh! Derek, you’d better follow the doctors orders and take it easy. Get yourself better Sir.

Don't worry Derek - nobody missed you.

(sorry - coundn't resist)

Seriously though, that doesn't sound good. I'm glad they've sorted you out. Take it easy my friend, and don't be too hard on us all, with all that time on your hands.

Oh Derek,

You can pester me at any time you wish.
Just slow down a bit which, I know, is easier said than done.

If there is anything I can do for you just PM me.

40 degrees!!! Never been that warm in my life :funny:

Cheers
Frederick
