Before and during recent major problems,at Wilmas suggestion and my glad acceptance of the idea I relocated the lathe from the large body of my workshop to a room previously committed to metal work lathe etc.

Progress stopped following the pronouncement either lose several toes or increase the meagre flow of blood to the feet asap.

A new departure this location to enable sit down turning as usual and in a room easily heated and cooled.

At the same time diagnosis of the pelvis revealed advanced Osteo Arthritus across the region advanced in both hips.

Also a pinched nerve in the lower back.

In a while I will show close ups of another method I devised for dust removal using a vac located outside this room. This using a 40mm HD Tee Piece ,end capped, entry cut out on the Mill Drill. This affixed to the pen rest itself. The Lathe is dedicated to Penmaking. It is Saturday here and on Monday morning I am to go to the main Hospital for a weeks round of surgery. All good fun but deemed necessary.

Kind regards Peter.

Peter, that's a list of ailments that you could not call minor. Lets hope that your treatment commencing Monday will go a long way to help alleviate your situation. We want to see more pictures of your wonderful pens soon.
It sounds that you have a very supportive wife in Wilma, that's a blessing.
As it says on all the cards---- Get Well Soon
Very best regards, cobber
