I went there yesterday and it was a good day out with plenty of wood related stuff to look at. I was particularly impressed with many of the Pen makers. The last two I looked at chose to make pens using only native hardwoods and the looked very good. Of particular interest were the style and quality of the kits used. My friend commented on this and the maker said they get all their kits direct from the USA.

If you’ve not been before and it’s within travelling distance look out for it next year. It’s near Sturminster Newton and is on the Saturday & Sunday. Lots of free parking.

I do of course carry a phone but the screens not very big and I’m running out of memory on it. As a result I rarely take pictures with the phone. I must get a compact or maybe borrow the wife’s as carrying a DSLR can be a chore.
