    One for Dalboy (Derek) and his grandson!!

    friend of mine sent me this...... well it has to be tried and what a lovely piece of Padauk




    Hey Phil why cant I get the video to work? (in the mean time copy and paste this h ttps://youtu.be/pt7CdjECjdc c but remove the space after the H in HTTPS

    Seems to be working for me Pierre.

    Great skill and ingenuity. Not least of all to get a bow saw to cut straight. (Not a skill I possess unfortunately).

    I learned my cabinet making on tools (bow saws, jigsaw, chisels, hand planes, scrapers etc) like that; Taught by a French Master...…

    That's why I bought a combination machine, bandsaw, morticer and all the rest of the automatic tooling If I could have afforded a cnc machine I'd have got that as well!! But I dream of getting huge blocks of Padauk like that imagine the bandsaw boxes you could make with that!! I wonder If he'd swap for a piece of Oak

    That is incredible, such skill. It shames us all really when you think how we struggle sometimes with modern tools. It also shows just how versatile hand tools really are in the hands of a craftsman. Thanks for forwarding the video Pierre.
