I would give it a try if it wasn't expensive, the technology has been around for a while.

Not the same but I use UV activated varnish on my fishing flies and it's excellent stuff.

A French friend of mine bought some through the internet. Not Bondic but another make, apart from being expensive, its only as good as far as the light will penetrate, and then the light has to be very close, so no room for trembling hands. The quantities supplied are small and expensive for its quantity and its only good for tiny areas. So gluing the inside of something doesn't work, however filling a shallow groove can work so as a decoration ie gluing a silver wire bead into a shallow groove could be a use since it can be sanded very clean.
