Well, have spent the first day in the workshop hoping to at least get something made. And what do I end up doing crawling around the floor cleaning under every unit in there dropped a screw from an expensive caliper set, not the easiest thing to replace:vangry::vangry::vangry:.

Eventually found it and did manage to sand a vase ready for decorating. No shed time tomorrow out at the club.

Felt the agony of dropping small items in the workshop, busy planning a workbench for setting out, final finishing with a padded receiving base.A mate of mine has a fully lasered router set up to cut the bench top for me later in January.

Been there, done that a thousand times.:sob::love_it: A magnet is a blind mans best friend.

Not sure about a blind mans best friend more like any mans best friend when it works. The shop vac done the trick this time as it disappeared under one of the units which I vac'd under after making sure it was empty before doing this clean. Did try a magenet but it kept sticking to the bottom of a metal shelf:whistling::whistling::whistling:

Hi all,

I am convinced that my workshop is in another time zone or dimension. I put tools down and then go to retrieve them and they are not there. A few choice words followed by a cup of tea and return only to find them exactly where I had left them. I have worked it out; there are 3 time zones, a two minute, 30minute and an infinite. Frustrating at times. There is a place somewhere in this universe where my time warped tools go. :rolling:

Pleased you found it Derek

Cheers
