Another Dry Day In Tennant CK

I want to work on 12/01/2020 at 4.30 am, as I was going down the driveway, I kept rubbing my eyes to get them to focus, once I got out on the road I realised that is was s dust storm.

After 2 years with out rain even the spinifex is dead.

A friend of mine who first came to Tennant in 1968, recently, came back for a visit, said this is what it was when he first arrive in 1968 at the end of a nine year drought.

You've got all the dry - we've got all the rain. A compromise would be good.

Hope things improve for you soon - the dreadful fires in Aus are on the news daily over here.

Your plight has been chatted about with some friends I have in USA. We are very concerned and wish the International community would assist more. I have read where Aussies came to assist with the fires in California last few years; not sure we have reciprocated. If not, our shame.

I saw one report that 157 US firefighter volunteered also some Canadians as well.
One thing I notice was a lot of the blokes had beards.
I tried to join up for as an Auxiliary Firefighter years ago, they wanted me to cut my hair and shave my beard off.

Still got a bit of water in the rain water tank, I am surprised that it has lasted this long, but we only use it for drinking.
Also use it for brewing my beer.
Believe it or not there is no water restrictions here, the only restriction is your wallet.
There are 13 bores south of the town where we get our water from.
