Well at least the materials have started to arrive, all I need now is some fine weather to start putting it together.

Just before the bloke delivered the wood it was chucking it down stopped long enough to unload and move to where I have stored it then it started again

The weekend sounds like it could be a washout but then hopefully will be able to get on with it after that. Today I have managed to cut some pieces to length and clear the lower patio of some logs of yew and holly. And 18" diameter yew logs are bloody heavy.

As predicted the weekend has been a washout. But just to show the before damage and the terrible woodwork when I first put it up I have learnt so much since then and the single roof support will be replaced with quite a few more on this build

Yesterday I was given aCIG Compact2 stick welder ,I had given away three stick welders to mens sheds, had bought a jokeone from E Bay so I can weld a couple of special benches etc. The wind damage reminds me of the chaos following our giant hailstorm recently, getting a new windscreen for the old Merc, lightly sandblasted in the storm. several roofs and cracked tiles etc in the past approval replace by the insurance coy to go yet.

Have fun with the shed mate.

At least today managed to make a start on the biggest panel. Layed out the frame and screwed together squared it up and held it with a diagonal brace while I got most of the feather edge on. Brace removed and the rest of the feather edge completed.
I was going to spray all the parts but decided to spray panels as they are finished. This one will need to dry before spraying but at least it is finished as far as construction is concerned. I will be putting three or four blocks on the bottom for when we move it as the feather board protrudes 1/2" below the bottom frame. Not worried about the feather board colours as the finish will bring it all to the same colour.

The next piece will be the solid end and then the two doors before constructing the other end I need a door to double-check my measurements as this is being made as I go and not to a plan. I know the sizes without a drawing.

Forst end panel nearly complete meed to trim the top feather board you may be able to see the line I need to cut to and one of the pieces I cut off will fill the last little bit right at the apex of the end.
