    Couldn't believe it

So I finally took the plunge.
After months of deliberating I have decide to build a new workshop 3 times the size of my existing one.
Started the task of clearing out drawers, shelves etc this morning and moving everything into the garage. Its going to take at least 2-3 weeks.
And then I've got to dismantle the old workshop.
Can't believe the amount of stuff I've accumulated over the years.
First to be packed was all my lathe tools, pen making jigs, blanks etc.
Had hardly called it a day and the phone rang. An existing customer wanting to place an order for 6 customised pens. Couldn't believe it.
After explaining that my lathe etc. was out of commission for the next 3 to 4 months he upped the order to a dozen for the end of June.
At least the order wasn't lost but I think the wife's kitchen table may be getting utilised before long.

Always the same. Hope the new build goes well. As you may have seen I am doing a wood store rebuild and so far it is taking me one-day per panel. If it was a workshop then I could quite easy up that to two days per panel.

Great news on the order front.

I found that my old workshop was a bit like the Tardis. I still have't found homes for all the stuff in my new one, and like yours, it's 3 times the size of the old one. Where does it all come from?

Can you afford a divorce as a result of using the kitchen table? I couldn't.

3 times bigger isn't big enough, you'll fill it faster than you can blink, go on fill the whole garden with workshop, you know you want to. A work in progress thread would be interesting, good luck with the build.
