Insecurity I do not suffer from I always use extra,bolts,nuts,fasteners ,the thought of a lathe unmounted beggars belief. And yes the lathe is secure variable speed controlled using a three phase motor from single phase converter with the drive motor on the bench level.Always purchase what is called a bare lathe has made great sense and opportunity for me.:winking:

We now all know the source of that huge cloud of sawdust over Canberra. :whistling::winking:

Alas the cold has me in its grip even the normally mild August is waiting to heat up.We are having saving rain though and after the previous fires etc it is welcome.,Meanwhile trying to stop shivering. Please stay safe everyone.
