Wine stopper gone wrong

I must have had the wood to tight, i saw the crack early enough, but i kept turning hoping that i could do a repair on it, sadly i couldn't as the crack went on both sides? :rolling:

It was turned on a gadget designed for stoppers mate, it keeps the screw in the stopper when finished. It was on here i believe i went to tight. :whistling:

Spliting on both sides is evidence that you did have the piece to tight Tony, looked a nice piece of Yew too ... :devil:
